Spoke too soon…

Yep. Internet is cutting out again. :’-( although not as often. Sigh.

Space…..

It has taken us a whole year to organise a course social, but it was well worthit. I really enjoyed the evening of pub golf last week and properly met lots of new people from the course. Meeting up with new people has also kept me busy, which i am really pleased about as boredom is pretty much unbearable for me. So feeling a lot more positive this year.

Handing in the Authorship essay had me dancing down the corridors on the way back from the assignment office, and drinking cocktails in Dylans at lunch time. Its such a good feeling to know i’ve worked so hard for something and its finally done! I must remember this for next time i am lacking in motivation to finish an essay!

I must admit this new project looks enjoyable, but difficult. I have had 3 meetings with my group, and i feel confident that we are going to work well together. I have been elected group manager, which i am enjoying. Organising group meetings and writing up minutes has also helped me to organise myself in my personal life. It seems when i am in this ‘organisational’ state of mind, i am able to plan other things. This is very positive for me, as it has enabled me to motivate myself and remember what i need to do in the day, and knowing i have achieved something in my day makes me feel good.

In terms of the group, we all have good determination to get on with the project, and everyone is giving equal imput. There’s not much to complain about – we have quite a strong idea and know what we each must be getting on with. I’m pleased that the subject ’space’ is pretty open in terms of what we can do. I am bracing, but preparing myself, for the expected large workload for next year, and am actually looking forward to it
